The Bell Inn Hotel is situated in North Suffolk, the heart of East Anglia, just off the A143, approximately 7 miles south west of Diss and 14 miles North East of Bury St.Edmunds.

From a historical and cultural point of view, there is plenty to see
and do with the Abbey Ruins, Cathedral, Museums and Art Gallery in Bury St.Edmunds, The Museum of East Anglian Life in Stowmarket, Wingfield Arts College, Bressingham Gardens and Steam Museum and Knettishall Country Park all being within a 30 minute drive.

Ipswich and Norwich, with their many attractions are only one hour away using the nearby A140.

The popular Coastal Resorts of Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Southwold can be easily driven within an hour to make a perfect day out.

Swimming: Leisure World at Stowmarket, and Swimming Pools in Diss and Bury St Edmunds.

Animal Life: Banham Zoo, The Otter Trust at Earsham, The British Birds of Prey Centre at Stonham Barns are all easily reached.

Horse Racing: Newmarket (The home of British Horse Racing) is less than an hour by car. There is also a Horse Racing Museum.
